Mechanization of poultry production

Today’s trends of development of industrialized poultry production are characterized by a higher level of mechanization and automation of all the processes, a transition to complex systems of machines and equipment comprising production, transport and control sections. The cage-battery technology is the backbone of industrialized poultry production.

Over the last five years the number of cages in agriculture increased more than threefold, of incubators – twofold, and the level of all-round mechanization rose 1,7 times. This reduced direct expenses at poultry by 67 per cent.

Poultry farming experts’ attention is called to fragments of the hen batteries БКН-3, БКМ-3, БКМ-3Б, the incubator ИКП-90; full-scale models of egg-processing lines of 20,000 and 72,000 egg capacity, and other equipment.

And Set of equipment for raising meat chickens ЦБК-20В is intended for all-out mechanization and partial automation of labour-consuming processes involved in growing uni-age chicks for meat (broilers), beginning from day-old birds to the slaughter mass (up to 56 days) kept on deep litter and supplied with dry-rationed fodder.

It provides for mechanization and partial automation of:

– reception and temporary storage of 2 – 3 day fodder reserve;

– distribution of dry full-rationed feeds among the feeders;

– supply of water to drinkers;

– local warming of chicks.

Control mode: basic – automatic, stand-by-manual.
